that the number of prisoners in America rose to 1.8 million
last year, the highest level ever, and the second largest
prison population in the world.
Department of Corrections Searches consist of Inmate Records
from the Department of Rehabilitation & Corrections of
specific states. Records vary by years based upon
individual states. Subjects will only appear in this search if
they have been physically incarcerated in a state penal
institution or prison.
These records do not include persons placed on probation,
and should not be used as the only criminal background check
for employment screening.
